IT System Administrator (m/f/d)

Your Mission

Are you passionate about assisting individuals in resolving computer-related issues? As a valuable member of our IT team in Andoya, your primary objective will involve delivering outstanding customer support and technical assistance to our internal clients while assisting them in their endeavor to build a rocket.

More specifically, you will:

  • Provide first and second level support on site and remote for any incoming IT issues.
  • Setup, install and maintain windows computers and laptops.
  • Document tickets and troubleshooting steps.
  • Support our people finding smart and simple ways to solve their IT problems.
  • Take care for troubleshooting the IT environment (mainly Windows VMs, firewalling, networking etc.) on site at our Norway facilities together with the colleagues in Germany.
  • Bring a solid basic knowledge of Windows based active directory and networking as well as basic understanding of firewall configuration.
  • Are willing to learn new technologies and systems and to acquire knowledge for them independently.
  • Be the friendly face of IT department towards our people.

Who you are and what you have

  • Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree on the relevant field (IT science)
  • At least 4 years of experience working in a corporate IT environment
  • Experience with Windows, firewalling, and networking
  • Self-organized working method
  • Fluent in English
  • Driver’s license
